Snippet

Weekend..
Am a little bit busy with papers marking..
Perhaps it'll meet the dateline..

Once in a while, I take a break for a cup of coffee + butterscotch..
Checking on incoming email on my lappy..
And here's what I got from a friend of mine..

A TOUCHING LOVE STORY

10th Grade:-
As I sat there in English class,
I stared at the girl next to me.
She was my so called 'best friend'.
I stared at her long, silky hair,
and wished she was mine.
But she didn't notice me like that,
and I knew it.
After class,
she walked up to me and asked me for
the notes she had missed the day before.
I handed them to her.She said 'thanks'
and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

11th grade:-
The phone rang. On the other end,
it was her. She was in tears,
mumbling on and on about how
her love had broke her heart.
She asked me to come over
because she didn't want to be alone, So I did.
As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her
soft eyes, wishing she was mine.
After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie,
and three bags of chips,
she decided to go home.
She looked at me, said 'thanks'
and gave me a kiss
on the cheek..I want to tell her,
I want her to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

Senior year:-
One fine day she walked to my locker.
'My date is sick' she said,
'hes not gonna go' well,
I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade,
we made a promise that
if neither of us had dates,
we would go together just as 'best friends'.
So we did.
That night, after everything was over,
I was standing at her front door step.
I stared at her as She smiled at me
and stared at me with her crystal eyes.
Then she said- 'I had the best time, thanks!'
and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

Graduation:-
A day passed, then a week, then a month.
Before I could blink, it was graduation day.
I watched as her perfect body
floated like an angel
up on stage to get her diploma.
I wanted her to be mine-but
she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it.
Before everyone went home,
she came to me in her smock and hat,
and cried as I hugged her.
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder
and said- 'you're my best friend,
thanks' and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

Marriage:-
Now I sit in the pews of the church.
That girl is getting married now.
and drive off to her new life,
married to another man.
I wanted her to be mine,
but she didn't see me like that,
and I knew it.
But before she drove away,
she came to me and said 'you came !'.
She said 'thanks' and kissed me on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

Death:-
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin
of a girl who used to be my 'best friend'.
At the service, they read a diary entry
she had wrote in her high school years.
This is what it read:
'I stare at him wishing he was mine,
but he doesn't notice me like that,
and I know it.
I want to tell him,
I want him to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love him but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.
I wish he would tell me he loved me !

...'I wish I did too...'I thought to my self, and I cried.
*so u guys out there who read this, I think u know what to do..rite?? (same goes to me too..when I have one!!)

American Idol Finale

Allen throws a wrench into expected `Idol' outcome

Kris Allen beamed with disbelief, shook his head as if to reject that this was really happening and doubled over in shock.

The fact that he'd just beaten rollicking vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert for the "American Idol" title wasn't going to sink in quickly for the unassuming underdog from Arkansas. The only downside to this stunning victory: He was going to have to sing "No Boundaries" one more time.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know what to feel right now. This is crazy," said the 23-year-old from Conway, Ark., as he leaned on host Ryan Seacrest to keep from staggering.

Allen's smooth vocals and boy-next-door image gave him the edge after nearly 100 million viewer votes were cast, turning the theatrical Lambert into the most unlikely of also-rans. When the season started, Allen seemed unsure he had a right to take center stage, let alone stand there and snatch victory from such a formidable rival.

During his "Idol" audition last summer, Allen, hands in his pockets and a newsboy cap pulled down around his eyes, was asked by the judges if he was the best singer around.

"You know, there's probably people who are better than me," was Allen's response, offered in the quiet, low-key spirit he retained despite his growing profile.

Conversely, Lambert's commanding vocal range and stage presence -- and the judges' lavish adoration -- at times turned "Idol" into "The Adam Lambert Show," with the other contestants mere guests. But it turned out that "Idol" viewers could embrace a gifted performer like Lambert, one who sported black nail polish and bold self-assurance, only to a point.

Cowell tipped his hat to both contestants Wednesday night, who shared a moment of musical camaraderie when they joined with Queen on the rock anthem "We Are the Champions."

"To both of you, and I don't normally mean this, I thought you were both brilliant ... the future's all yours," the judge said.

"Adam did win. So did Kris. Nobody lost tonight. These are two champions," said Kiss guitarist Paul Stanley from backstage.

The comments from Cowell and Stanley aren't necessarily empty platitudes. Past contestants can testify that losing the title doesn't mean you're a loser, nor does winning mean you're a shoo-in for superstardom.

Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson, who finished fourth and seventh in their respective seasons, have gone on to huge success. As for "Idol" winners, they range from blockbuster artists like Carrie Underwood to the mostly under-the-radar Taylor Hicks.

Backstage, Lambert was asked about how his second-place finish would be interpreted online.

"The blogs have a lot of opinions, don't they?" he said, smiling and looking relaxed.

His own interpretation?

"I think Kris won because he's a great artist and I was happy to be runner-up to that," he said.

Wednesday's outcome echoed last year's contest, which also looked at the outset like it was going the other way. Cowell all but crowned David Archuleta after the performance finale, calling his a "knockout performance" -- but the victory went to David Cook.

Lambert was such a powerful, unique performer that his fans were allowed a sense of entitlement on his behalf. But his triumph wasn't inevitable. When Allen and Lambert were declared the finalists last week, just 1 million viewer votes separated the pair out of 88 million cast.

Allen bloomed during the season, gaining more assurance onstage and winning viewers over with his heartfelt vocals, modest demeanor and well-scrubbed good looks.

There was also the Danny Gokey factor. Gokey made it to the top three before he fell out of the contest, leaving his supporters up for grabs.

"After the third one leaves, you wonder where do the votes go from that third contestant," Paula Abdul said backstage after Tuesday's singing showdown.

Allen seemed the likely candidate for those viewers' affections, for on- and offstage reasons. Allen and Gokey, 29, of Milwaukee, were downright conservative when compared to Lambert's elaborate staging and wardrobe choices. Allen is a married college student -- his wife was often on hand to root for him -- and has worked as a church worship leader. Gokey, a recent widower, is a church music director.

Lambert, 27, of Los Angeles, brought measured rock flashiness -- daring, not freaky -- with songs including "Whole Lotta Love," the first-ever Led Zeppelin tune on "Idol." He's largely kept his personal life under wraps, saying "I know who I am" when asked about it.

Earlier this week, Allen said he hoped the outcome wouldn't be decided by "having the Christian vote."

"I hope it has to do with your talent and the performance that you give and the package that you have. It's not about religion and all that kind of stuff," he said.

Added Lambert: "It's about music. That's really important to keep in mind."

The finale Wednesday included the usual bag of tricks for extending the show to two hours and delaying the result until the final minutes. There were group numbers, the Golden Idol Award -- semifinalist funnyman Nick "Norman Gentle" Mitchell among the contenders -- and celebrity-contestant combos.

Allen was joined by Keith Urban on "Kiss a Girl," while Lambert stomped the stage in elevator boots and oversized ribbed shoulder pads for a pyrotechnic performance with Kiss.

The female finalists, including Allison Iraheta, opened up for Fergie, who sang "Big Girls Don't Cry" and then was joined by her group, the Black Eyed Peas. Iraheta later dueted with Cyndi Lauper on "Time After Time" and Danny Gokey joined Lionel Richie for two tunes.

Rod Stewart sang "Maggie May" after the male finalists opened for him with "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy."

An offbeat guest was Steve Martin, the actor-comedian who also specializes in the banjo. He played his song "Pretty Flowers" with finalists Megan Joy and Michael Sarver on vocals.

Asked by Seacrest to guess who might win "American Idol," Martin replied: "I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping I do."

Allen rose to the occasion during Tuesday's performance show, especially with his soulful version of "Ain't No Sunshine." But he was tripped up by "No Boundaries," a power ballad song co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi and ill-suited to his voice.

(One audience wag said the tune's exhortation -- "You can go higher, you can go deeper ... Every step you climb another mountain" -- made it ideal for a Stairmaster exercise machine ad.)

Lambert did a better job with "No Boundaries" and excelled on his reprise of "Mad World" and on "A Change is Gonna Come."

"That was the best I've ever heard you sing -- ever!" exclaimed Abdul.

But it wasn't good enough for "American Idol" voters.

* Congrats to Kris Allen who won the Idol title eventhough I was hoping that Adam Lambert who's gonna be crown for it anyway..No more the next David Cook, but welcome aboard the next David Archuletta..wekeke..whatever!!

!@#$%^&*()_+

Driving back home with beloved BABYCOOPER..
Unstable emotion..
A lot of things messing in my mind..
Suddenly changed the music from Fly.fm to Hot.fm..
And this song came up..

Rossa feat. Pasha Ungu ~ Terlanjur Cinta
waktu bergulir lambat
merantai langkah perjalanan kita
berjuta cerita terukir dalam
menjadi sebuah dilema

mengertikah engkau
perasaanku tak terhapuskan

malam menangis
tetes embun membasahi mata hatiku
mencoba bertahan di atas puing-puing
cinta yang tlah rapuh

apa yang ku genggam
tak mudah untuk aku lepaskan

reff:
aku terlanjur cinta kepadamu
dan tlah kuberikan seluruh hatiku
tapi mengapa baru kini kau pertanyakan cintaku

aku pun tak mengerti yang terjadi
apa salah dan kurang ku padamu
kini terlambat sudah untuk dipersalahkan
karna sekali cinta, aku tetap cinta

mencoba bertahan di atas puing-puing
cinta yang tlah rapuh

apa yang ku genggam
tak mudah untuk aku lepaskan

* tetiba lak nak feeling2 bila dengar lagu ni..wekeke!!
* OIIITTTT!!!..Wakeup la!!!

Snippet

There's a lot of things happened this entire week..
Until I found myself fatigue and can't even take it anymore..
I'm not sure where to start thou..

Anyway..
I was getting myself BUSY preparing / updating / editing and documenting the final working paper which was due on Thursday (lucky me cause I managed to meet the dateline)..
Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly as scheduled..
The final touch up (burn it into DataCD ~ which was taking me 2 days to burn cause of the CD itself!! Sighhh!!)..
Sent the papers for proper binding (1 day period) which cost me RM62!! (Mahal nak MAMPOS!!! ~ nasib baik la tengah desperate time tuh, have to make myself SMILE at that nyonya, if not dah lama dah kena MAKI!!)..

Meanwhile..
On Friday afternoon, there were a called up meeting conducted by the director for those selected names in the email sent a few days ago..
Everyone was so wonder what was the agenda is all about..
Until the director himself announced it..
What was it anyway,huh?..
SURPRISED!!..
I was so shocked eventhough heard about the rumors before but this time it was so real..
Just couldn't stop myself to thank God for giving me this GOOD news..
But whatever it is, CONGRATULATIONS to all the receipients of the award..
Perhaps it will makes us more motivated and dedicated in our future prospect of career..
BRAVO!!

It was Saturday..
Wokeup early to pick up the papers from that nyonya..
After that, I drove myself to Malacca meeting up with those lovely nieces and nephews for a sun surf @ A' Farmosa Resort..
They enjoyed themselves playing and swimming at the lagoon while me getting busy marking up the students' coursework nearby the beach..
Up till the evening, I brought them for a dinner @ McD's Dataran Pahlawan..
It was so chaos with each and every of them took a long long time to decide which McValue set do they preferred..
As uncle, I was just standing there in front of the counter smiling like kerang busyuk to the beautiful cashier while waiting for them to place the order..
Finished at about 2000pm..
Cruising around the town before sending them back home and call the nite off..
It was so called "Uncle's Day out"..
Hahaha..

Sunday..
It's the day where I have to submit the working papers..
Set an appointment with the supervisor..
And ended up the final meeting and discussion with a deep breathe this afternoon..
Having makan-makan at the stadium while chitchatting with the other stooges..
Finally, after 5 months of efforts on working out the papers and the programming software, it was end a few hours ago..

#ooppss!..it was Teacher's Day on May 16 rite?..Happy Teacher's Day to all the teachers in the world!! Thank you so much for all your thoughts that really makes me a man nowadays!!

Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day!!
Thanks for everything, MUM..
You have been just a perfect MUM for me and believe me that there's NO ONE can even replace you..
Therefore, I dedicated this Song for Mama by BoyzIIMen specially for you, MUM!!
I LOVE YOU from the day I see the world until when..when.. ;-) (forever la tuh!!)

"Song for Mama"

You taught me everything
And everything you've given me
I always keep it inside
You're the driving force in my life, yeah
There isn't anything
Or anyone that I can be
And it just wouldn't feel right
If I didn't have you by my side
You were there for me to love and care for me
When skies were grey
Whenever I was down
You were always there to comfort me
And no one else can be what you have been to me
You will always be you always will be the girl
In my life for all times

Mama, mama you know I love you
Oh you know I love you
Mama, mama you're the queen of my heart
Your love is like
Tears from the stars
Mama, I just want you to know
Lovin' you is like food to my soul
Yes it is

You're always down for me
Have always been around for me even when I was bad
You showed me right from my wrong
Yes you did
And you took up for me
When everyone was downin' me
You always did understand
You gave me strength to go on
There was so many times
Looking back when I was so afraid
And then you come to me
And say to me I can face anything
And no one else can do
What you have done for me
You'll always be
You will always be the girl in my life

Never gonna go a day without you
Fills me up just thinking of you
I'll never go a day without my mama

Yes you are
* And to all MOTHERS in the world..WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY and MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!

Khasiat Kentut

WASHINGTON : Ia mungkin melucukan dan dianggap tidak masuk akal tetapi pegawai kesihatan persekutuan Amerika Syarikat (AS) dijangka segera mengeluarkan laporan yang memberi amaran kepada umum mengenai faedah kentut.

"Kentut, jika kerap dihidu boleh menyembuhkan pelbagai penyakit berbahaya seperti sakit kepala, gangguan pada mata, emfisema, lelah, bronkitis, sakit jantung dan lain-lain"

"Setiap tahun, kira-kira 130,000 rakyat AS telah pulih daripada pelbagai penyakit disebabkan menghidu kentut dan ramai lagi berasa lega daripada penyakit serius kerana terlalu lama terdedah kepada keadaan itu," kata seorang doktor yang bertugas dengan Pusat Kawalan Penyakit (CDC) AS.

Katanya, orang ramai mesti menyedari menghidu kentut sebenarnya menambah khasiat untuk kesihatan orang lain.

Menurut laporan yang dikeluarkan CDC, setiap tahun kentut memulihkan 800 kes serangan jantung, 250 kes angin ahmar, 30,000 lelah dan 50,000 kes sakit telinga. Disebabkan masalah makanan tidak teratur, kini ramai rakyat Amerika menghidap kembung perut.
Menurut laporan itu, purata penduduk AS kentut 14 hingga 23 kali sehari.

*Moral of the story : Kentutlah merata-rata tempat..Ingatlah orang-orang yang tersayang!! & BILA RASA NAK KENTUT..STANDBYYYY!!!!!!
